چکیده

Roadside units (RSUs), which have strong computing capability and are close to vehicle nodes, been widely used process delay- computation-intensive tasks of nodes. However, due their high mobility, vehicles may drive out the coverage RSUs before receiving task processing results. In this paper, we propose a mobile edge computing-assisted vehicular network, where can offload nearby via vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) link or RSU vehicle-to-infrastructure link. These also migrated by V2V an infrastructure-to-infrastructure (I2I) avoid scenario cannot receive processed from RSUs. Considering mutual interference same offloading migrating tasks, construct decision-based game minimize computation overhead. We prove that always achieve Nash equilibrium convergence exploiting finite improvement property. then migration (TM) algorithm includes three task-processing methods two task-migration methods. Based on TM algorithm, overhead minimization (COMO) is presented. Extensive simulation results show proposed COMO algorithms reduce increase success rate processing.

Energy Minimization and Delay Analysis in TDMA-based Sensor Networks

We consider sensor networks where energy is a limited resource so that energy consumption must be minimized while satisfying given throughput requirements. Moreover, energy consumption must take into account both the transmission energy and the circuit processing energy for short-range communications. In this context, we analyze energy-efficient joint routing, scheduling, and link adaptation st...

Cooperative Localization with Energy Minimization in Vehicular Long-Thin Networks

In this paper, we propose a cooperative energy-efficient localization framework (CELF) for power saving in vehicular long-thin networks (VLTNs) with fleet cyclists using smart phones along a common cycling route. As cyclists upload their position data and download global fleet information, all power-consuming GPS receivers have to be turned on for obtaining their current locations. To minimize ...

Minimization of E2E Delay in Wireless ADHOC Networks based on Residual Energy of Nodes

In Wireless network, whenever a data is transferred from source to destination, shortest path algorithms are always preferred to minimize delay. As node failures are common in battery operated wireless devices, retransmission has to be carried out when node failure occurs which leads to higher delay and lesser network lifetime. Several algorithms were already proposed to minimize the delay and ...

Vehicular Delay-Tolerant Networks

—There are problems of low delivery radio and high transmission delay in Vehicular Delay-Tolerant Networks (a.b. VDTN. To address these problems, this paper proposes a Vehicular Delay-tolerant Network routing algorithm based on Contention (a.b. VDNC). VDTN algorithm consists of three strategies: the intersection selection strategy based on the Manhattan distance and traffic information, the fi...
